As the Governor of Ekiti State, Hon Biodun Oyebanji celebrates his 55th birthday today, a member of the House of Assembly, Hon Adeoye Aribasoye, has declared that the people of the state were lucky to have the current henchman as the governor.

Aribasoye said signs have started manifesting to buttress the fact that Ekiti people didn’t make any mistake in electing Oyebanji as the Governor, especially with the zealous and purposeful leadership he had exhibited in the last two months.

In his congratulatory message to the Governor in Ayedun Ekiti, on Wednesday, Aribasoye, stated that the fact that Oyebanji directed his fans and admirers to donate to the less privileged to mark the ceremony, signposted that he had unquantifiable love for the commoners.

The lawmaker, representing Ikole constituency 2, stated that many Ekiti young folks are now taking interest in governance and ready to use their vitality to serve the state , having been captivated by the Governor’s humble lifestyle.

He saluted the Governor for perceiving the common people as a source of his strength, rather than relying on the statutory powers that reside in the governorship seat, describing this as one reason that had endeared Oyebanji to the populace.

Aribasoye applauded the governor for his love for humanity and readiness to serve Ekiti people selflessly, with the energy and sacrifice he had been committing into leadership and in the implementation of his development agenda.

The lawmaker said: “Let me on behalf of myself and family congratulate Governor Biodun Oyebanji for clocking 55 years today. It has been years full of personal fulfilment and accomplishments.
