Ekiti Lawmaker, Fatoba, Congratulates Alake, Tunji-Ojo, Other New Ministers

The House of Representatives member, representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency one, and also Chairman, House standing committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve has congratulated Mr. Dele Alake, his former colleague in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo on their ministerial appointments and other new ministers.

Mr. Dele Alake from Ikoro Ekiti in Ijero local government of Ekiti state got the Solid Minerals Development Ministerial appointment, while Fatoba’s former colleague in the National Assembly, Honourable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo from (Akoko Northeast/West Federal Constituency) in Ondo state equally got Minister for Marine and Blue Economy.

Fatoba who equally rejoiced with other newly appointed ministers stated in a press release he signed and made available to Heritage News on Friday that their appointment as Ministers of the Federal Republic was no accident as they had distinguished themselves in their various careers.

While congratulating them all, Fatoba specifically described Alake from Ekiti state as a known veteran journalist who had contributed immensely to Nation building just as Tunji-Ojo who had excelled as a member in representing his constituents during his sojourn in the 10th National Assembly even within the short space of time.

“Dear Mr. Dele Alake and Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, I am using this medium to congratulate you on your appointments as ministers of the federal republic of Nigeria.

“I am confident that you will bring the patriotic zeal, dedication, resourcefulness, and innovation you were known for to bear on this your new assignment. I have no doubt in my mind that Mr. Alake will do us proud in Ekiti, just as I know that Hon. Tunji-Ojo will bringing to bear the leadership and governance capacity he had demonstrated in the parliament, once again I congratulate you all.”

Fatoba however urged the new Ministers to make the best use of their national assignment to positively impact the lives of Nigerians, who are eagerly yearning for a turnaround in the nation’s fortunes and are particularly interested in the improved quality of life that will come from the economic recovery they expect from the Tinubu-led government.
