“Ekiti Is Lucky To Have Adubiaro As SSG”-ASUU

 

The Academic Staff Union Of University(ASUU) of Federal University of Oye-Ekiti(FUOYE) has extolled the good virtues of its former Vice Chairman now Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr(Mrs) Habibat Omolara Adubiaro.

The union through its chairman, Dr. Gabriel Akinyemi Omonijo in his brief remark during a courtesy visit to the SSG at her office on Monday said they were full of excitement seeing one of them at one of the top echelons of government in the state.

He stated further that Ekiti state is lucky to have the type of Dr. Adubiaro as Secretary to State Government going by her antecedents and good track record as lecturer in the University and former vice chairman of the Union.

The leadership of the union also congratulated the SSG on her appointment and expressed optimism that she would be up to task in her responsibilities.

“We are very delighted over your appointment as Secretary to State Government. It is a thing of joy to see one of us at one of the top echelons of government in Ekiti state.

“Without mincing word, Ekiti is lucky to have you as SSG. We can recollect vividly how you have been up to task in your responsibilities as lecturer of the University and former member of the union.

“On a final note, we congratulate and wish you success in your new endeavors”

The SSG in her response thanked members of the union for their courtesy visit and promised to continue to make them proud.

“I am extremely grateful for your courtesy visit and good will message. I am proud to be a former member of this noble union. I thank you for the love and support I enjoyed during my stay in the university and also as former vice chairman of this union.

“If I am coming to this world again, I will always prefer to be a lecturer and member of ASUU”

Before leaving, members of the union presented the SSG with a big frame picture as gift.
