Ekiti Governor’s Aide Urges Student, Youth Organizations To Support APC House Of Assembly Candidates

The Senior Special Assistant(SSA) to Ekiti state Governor on Special Duties, Hon Olufemi Joshua Aduloju has urged student union and youth association in Ekiti to support all the 26 All Progressives Congress(APC) House of Assembly candidates in the Saturday House Assembly election.

The govenor’s aide made this urge during a meeting with Federation Of Ijero local government and Nigerian Youth Council(NYC) Ijero chapter in his office on Tuesday.

Aduloju in his remark thanked the unions for their support for APC during the governorship and Presidential elections. He appealed to the youth and student associations to let go any of their grievances with the house of assembly candidate in Ijero local government and promised them that all their needs would be attended to.

Aduloju described the total victory of the party in the Saturday election as crucial to the success of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration. He furthered appealed to them to work for the victory of all the Assembly candidates because of BAO.

“Let me start by appreciating you on behalf of my boss, the Governor of Ekiti state, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for your support during the governorship and presidential elections. No society can thrive without the youths. The Governor knows your value and is ready to prioritize your welfare.

“I have heared all your complaints about some of our Assembly candidates in Ijero local government and some other local governments in the state. I want to appeal to you on behalf of the Governor to let go any grievances you have with them.

“I urge you to give total support to all our Assembly candidates for this election and I promise you that all your needs would be attended” said Aduloju.

Meanwhile the student union and youth association were led by the SSA on Special Duties to the Special Adviser on Political Matters to Ekiti State Governor, High Chief Jide Awe for further deliberation.

The SAPOL during an interaction with the student union pleaded with them to put away their grievances and work for the victory of the party come 18th March. Also at the meeting was the House of Assembly candidate for Ijero constituency, Hon. Ademola Ojo who begged for forgiveness for any misgivings on his part.

The leadership of the student and youth associations who had earlier registered their displeasure over the character of the house of assembly candidate in Ijero local government promised to sheath their sword and work for the victory of the party come 18th March.
