Ekiti First Lady to Collaborate with SUBEB to Strengthen Primary Education

Ekiti State First Lady, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, has expressed her willingness to collaborate with the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to build strong educational foundation in the State.

Dr Oyebanji gave the assurance while playing host to top management team of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), led by its Executive Chairman, Prof. Femi Akinwumi in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday.

The First Lady who promised to contribute her quota to the development of education in the state stressed the need to build solid foundation for children as a way of enhancing the quality of their education.

She therefore assured the Board of her readiness to do everything within her capacity as an academic to improve the education system in the State.

Earlier, Prof. Akinwumi had eulogised the First Lady as an academic who understood the terrain and loved to put in all her energy to achieve success.

“As an academic expert, this is your area of specialization and we know your prowess in the field. We know you will not hesitate to answer us as we would like to have you as one of our education experts”, he said.
