The political ambition of the Ekiti State Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Hakeem Jamiu, on Sunday received a boost when a political group in Irepodun/Ifelodun constituency ll, `Progressive Like Minds ’ lauded his various achievements and concluded that he deserved a second term.
Hon. Odunayo Ehinfa who is the president of the group, said that they took the step because of his infrastructural and human development within three and half years in office, part of which include creation of job opportunities in his constituency.
“The ‘Progressive Like Minds’ is rooting for Rt. Hon. Hakeem Jamiu not because of his experience but because of his commitment in the House as a Deputy Speaker.” He said.
In his remarks, Comr. Afolabi Itunu, who represented Hon. Jamiu, the Deputy Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, lauded his hardworking for the opportunities and impact in the constituency.
“In every town of the constituency, he has touched some of the primary schools that have been renovated and with modern facilities.
“Every town, we have about 9 boreholes each and many others in his constituency. In view of this, Rt. Hon. Hakeem Jamiu deserves a second term in office,’’ he said.
