Meets Ekiti E-Progressive Media Group, Seeks Collaboration
In an effort to collaborate and close the information gap between the government and the populace, the Ekiti State Commissioner for Information and Value Orientation, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, met with the E-Progressive Media Group on Friday in Ado Ekiti.
Addressing the group, he stressed the importance of using social media platforms to promote the image of the state and encouraged youths to actively participate in this endeavor.
The commissioner gave assurances that the administration of Biodun Oyebanji would operate with an open door and transparent policy and make sure the ministry efficiently carried out its primary duty of information dissemination.
However, he urges social media users and influencers to refrain from spreading false information and instead focus on enhancing the positive perception of the state.
The group’s coordinator, Mr. Kasali Oluwafemi, appreciated the commissioner, stating that the E-progressive media team is prepared to collaborate with the Oyebanji’s administration to promote the state’s positive reputation.
In conclusion, the Commissioner, urged the media group and called upon the youths of Ekiti State to use social media responsibly and promote the good image of the state.
