Ekiti Commissioner Nominee Urges Youths To Engage In Useful Enterprise At Ward Meeting

Ekiti commissioner nominee who currently serves as Special Adviser to the state Governor on trade and investment, Mrs Tayo Adeola has called on youths to get themselves involved in useful enterprise rather being political jobbers.

She gave this advice during a familiarization visit to her political home, Ado APC ward 11 on Thursday.

Mrs Adeola in her remark during the ward meeting said youths should not rely solely on politics as means of their livelihood but rather learn skills that could fetch them meaningful income. She added that politics should be seen as secondary aspect and not as primary aspect.

The Ado-Ekiti born investment banker thanked party members for their unconditional love and support and promised to use her position for the benefit of the state and its people.

“My advice to our youths is that they should not turn themselves to political jobbers but rather learn skills that would fetch them meaningful income. Being a politician should be seen as second address and not as first address.

“The present administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji is committed to develop and give assistance to youths in their chosen career. This forms part of his six points agenda”

She remarked further that, “Let me at this point appreciate everyone of us that showed up during my screening exercise to give me moral support. I am highly impressed with the large turnout. I thank you for your unconditional love and support.”

Earlier, the ward Chairman, Mr Adegoke Oba in his remark had heaped praise on the governor’s aide for the benefits she has been able to attract to party members since her appointment by the state Governor. He commended the commissioner nominee for her good character and urged her not to relent.
