An All Progressives Congress,APC, House Of Assembly contestant in Ekiti State for Irepodun/ifelodun Constituency One, Hon. Femi Akindele, has commended INEC officials for what he described as an improved performance during the election into the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
Hon. Akindele who spoke to journalists after voting at his Oloro unit,ward 3, Igede-Ekiti, noted that officials of the electoral umpire were at the various polling units at the appropriate time. This he stressed enabled the electorate to cast their ballots at the right time too,thereby averting potential hiccups in the process. He pointed out that there were no cases of malfunctioning BVAS.
The lawmaker who is seeking re-election into the House for a second time said he was confident of victory. He believed that his antecedents during his first tenure in the House will justify his decision to jostle to have another shot in the House. Akindele pointed out that he constructed bore-holes,renovated schools,provided health facilities and other socioeconomic amenities targeted at uplifting the lives of the people of his constituent.
