Ekiti Assembly Appoints Agbede As Substantive Clerk
The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Titilope Agbede as the substantive Clerk of the Assembly.
The appointment followed a thorough screening process and is in line with Section 9(1) of the Ekiti State House of Assembly Commission Law 2022.
Agbede takes over from Bar. Opeyemi Ajibola, who has functioned in an acting capacity since May 2024.
Agbede, whose appointment is subject to confirmation by the House, hails from Ikole Local Government in Ekiti State.
She was the Deputy Clerk (Legislative Matters) before her new appointment.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
