A Muslim association known as Ansar-Ud-deen Women Council Ekiti State has commended the state Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji over the appointment of Muslims into various boards and commissions.
The association in a statement by its Chairperson, Alhaja Suleiman Suwebatu commended the governor for giving Muslim sense of belonging in his administration.
They stated further that the inclusion of Muslims in all the appointments made by the Governor since assumption of office shows the love and respect he has for the Muslim community.
The Ansar-Ud-deen Women Council rejoiced with worthy members of the Ansarudeen society group which included, The Chairman Ansarudeen society of Ekiti State, Alhaji Ademola Bello, The Chairperson, Ansarudeen Women Council, Ekiti state chapter, Alhaja Suleiman Suwebatu, Alhaji Rasheed Bakare, Alhaja Arilewola Latifat, Mrs Titilayo Fatima Bello, and Mr Mustapha Abdulmojeed that made up the list of the new appointees recently announced by the Governor.
Finally, Ansarudeen Muslim Women Council wished the Muslim appointees success in their new endeavors.
“We are using this medium to commend and show appreciation to our indefatigable Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for appointing some Muslim members into boards and commissions.
“Mr Governor has once again demonstrated the love and respect he has for the Muslim society in Ekiti atate. We are extremely grateful for this kind gesture.
“We want to also use this medium to congratulate our members that made up the list of those appointed by the Governor into various boards and commissions. We urge them to be up to task in their new assignment” the group stated.
