Ekiti Afenifere Ilosiwaju salutes Governor Oyebanji

 

Rising from its November meeting this Wednesday, and the first meeting after the new governor was inaugurated, the foremost Yoruba socio-political and cultural organization, under the leadership of Elder Yemi Alade gave kudos to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for starting well with the rehabilitation of Ado township roads, meeting the relevant Federal agencies, and Development partners.

The group also expressed support for the governor’s attendance of the Akure Yoruba leadership meeting that gave its support to the election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It was also observed that the new administration should be rest assured that Afenifere Ilosiwaju is ready as always to support the government to the best of its ability.
The group was happy to welcome back the immediate deputy governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi who doubles as the deputy chairman of Ekiti Afenifere, the former APC state chairman, High Chief Jide Awe and a chieftain of APC, Prince Oladele Adeniyi.
The meeting was attended by over 25 top ranking members of the Association including the national secretary of the group, Hon Bayo Aina.
