A stalwart of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has led over 3,000 of the party’s members in every nook and cranny of Ekiti State to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The former SDP stalwart, Mr. Wale Alade-Oba, who was SDP State organising secretary and current National welfare secretary of the party, today dumped the party in the preparation for Ekiti 2022 governorship election.

At the defection ceremony in Igede Ekiti, Alade-Oba who was also PDP House of Representatives aspirant in 2019 election, said he decided to move his teeming supporters to the APC because SDP has become a hard-sell among the people of the state.
