Heritagenewsng reports that the former SSG to Ekiti State Government, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji popularly known as BAO has obtained the nomination for APC Governorship Primary at the National party secretariat in Abuja this afternoon alongside his numerous supporters from Ekiti state.
With the former SSG in Abuja to collect the nomination form are, the Chief of Staff to Ekiti state Governor, Hon. Abiodun Omoleye, Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba(MHR) Hon. Peter Owolabi(MHR) Hon. Olakunle Ibrahim(MHR), Hon. Wunmi Ogunlola(MHR), Chief Remi Oguntuase, Hon. Tade Aluko, Hon. Aribasoye and host of other APC party leaders and members.
It was a carnival-like at the APC party secretariat in Abuja this afternoon.
After obtaining his nomination form, Mr Biodun Oyebanji shown his readiness to continue with the good work of JKF led administration if given the opportunity to rule Ekiti come 2022 and also expressed optimism of winning the opposition People’s Democratic Party.
“I will run on Gov Fayemi excellent performance to win PDP hands down in the Ekiti 2022 Guber election” said Biodun Oyebanji.
Recall that, Mr Oyebanji resigned from the cabinet of Governor Fayemi to prepare ahead of the APC Governorship Primary which is billed to hold on January 22, 2022.
It was also reported some aspirants within the party which include Engr. Kayode Ojo, Otunba Demola Popoola have also collected their nomination forms to contest the governorship primary.
