After January 18 APC governorship primary election that birthed the candidacy of Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, party and non party members anxiously awaited the announcement of a running mate.
The general opinion is a running mate that will be a perfect match for BAO’s candidacy.
It came as a thing of joy to APC party members in Ekiti state for the choice of an educationist and astute politician in person of Chief(Mrs) Monisade Christianah Afuye as Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s running mate.
Just like BAO, Chief Monisade possesses some exceptional qualities that qualifies her as suitable running mate for the June 18th governorship election in Ekiti state.
She is adjudged as a generous, humble and selfless woman who is more committed to the development and progress of Ekiti state and her Party, APC. This she exhibited as state women leader of APC in Ekiti state.
Like BAO, she is an homegrown and generally accepted.
Without an iota of doubt, the choice of Chief(Mrs) Monisade Afuye who hails from the Southern part of the state is an added advantage and boost to APC’s chance of winning the upcoming governorship election on a soft ground.
