RE-NOMINATION AS DEPUTY DIRECTOR FINANCE OF BISI KOLAWOLE CAMPAIGN COUNCIL
The purpose of this letter is to convey my withdrawal of acceptance to serve in the Campaign Council.
Recall the list of the Campaign Committee Members was released to the public on 9th February, 2022. In the list, I was appointed as the Deputy Director, Finance. To my dismay, the committee has not been constituted till today 23rd April, 2022 which is about 55days to Ekiti State Gubernatorial Election for which the campaign council was composed. With my experience, knowledge and exposure, election is seen to be a serious business which deserves enormous planning and brainstorming. It is lamentable that the committee is yet to be constituted. This constitute a huge departure from my training and approach to handling such a very sensitive assignment and hence the need for the withdrawal of my earlier acceptance to function in that capacity. This is not a decision I took lightly but deliberately taken as a choice.
I want to urge other members of the committee to remain committed even with the limited time and tools in carrying out their roles in the Campaign Committee. I thank you for the opportunity availed to serve and if such arises in the nearest future, please do not hesitate to still put me in consideration.
I wish the party (PDP) resounding success in the forthcoming elections as I remain committed to its ideals.
