The Muslim organization through its branch Missioner, Alhaji Abdulazeez Mohammed Nuhu Ilorin glorified Almighty Allah for the privilege given to Muslims to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir amidst the challenges of insecurity and COVID-19 pandemic.

In his words he said, “We give Almighty Allah the glory for the privilege given to us to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir in face of challenges of insecurity and COVID-19 pandemic”

Alhaji Abdulazeez furthered that, ” Essentially, Eid-al-Adha, which the Muslim Umma mark today, symbolizes not that act of blood atonement, or seeking favour with God through death; rather, the act of thanking God for one’s sustenance and also personal sacrifice of sharing food with other humans. Muslims observe the ritual as a way of acknowledging that only Allah has the absolute right to take a life”

He added that Muslims should thread the path of Prophet Ibrahim by imbibing the spirit of love, charity and sacrifice for the betterment of our society.

The branch Missioner also enjoined Muslims in Ekiti state and Nigeria to use the festive period to pray for God’s divine intervention towards ending insecurity in our land.

The Muslim organization prayed that Almighty God would continue to answer their prayer and forgive all their faults
