Eid-el Kabir: Ekiti SSG Felicitates Muslim Ummah

The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro has rejoiced with Muslims in Ekiti state on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el Kabir.

Adubiaro in a statement in Ado-Ekiti congratulated the adherent of Islamic faith for being alive to celebrate another festive period on earth.

She stated further that Eid-el Kabir is a period that reminds us about how Prophet Ibrahim’s faith was put into test by Almighty Allah and how he was greatly rewarded for keeping to his promise which taught us the moral lesson of the great reward that awaits those who fulfill promises to God and fellow human beings even pledges made at the point of difficulties and desperation.

The SSG therefore called on Muslims to remain steadfast even in face of difficulties and always keep to their promises to God and fellow human beings.

“It is my heartfelt pleasure to felicitate Muslims in Ekiti state on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el Kabir which is an important occasion in the muslim calender.

“Eid-el Kabir is a period that reminds us about how Prophet Ibrahim’s faith was put to test and how he was rewarded by Almighty Allah for keeping to his promise.

“I want to call on Muslims to follow the good step of Prophet Ibrahim by being steadfast even in face of difficulties and keep to all their promises to God and fellow human beings”

She finally submitted by urging them to use the opportunity provided by the festive period to pray for the success of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration and that of the federal government under president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The SSG also implored Muslims to celebrate in moderation and wished them happy celebration.

“Let’s use this period to pray for success of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration and that of the federal government led administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“As we celebrate Eid-el Kabir, I wish all Muslims happy celebration and more of it on earth. Eid Mubarak”
