A senatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti North Senatorial District, Hon. Chief Segun Ajibulu Festus (SAF), has called on Nigerians, particularly residents of Ekiti North, to embrace hope, renewal, and unwavering faith as Christians across the world celebrate Easter.
In his Easter Sunday message, Ajibulu Festus reflected on the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, describing it as a symbol of victory over adversity and a reminder that no situation is beyond redemption.
Quoting Matthew 28:6, “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said,” the APC chieftain noted that the resurrection story remains a powerful assurance that challenges, no matter how daunting, can be overcome.
He said, “The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just the foundation of our Christian faith, it is the eternal proof that no life is too broken to be restored and no dream is too dead to be revived.”
Addressing various segments of society, Ajibulu Festus encouraged families awaiting breakthroughs, youths facing hardship, as well as widows, farmers, traders, and students to remain steadfast, expressing optimism that a new season of upliftment and restoration is imminent.
“Sunday has come, and Sunday changes everything. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is still in the business of restoring broken homes and turning mourning into joy,” he added.
The senatorial hopeful also expressed confidence in the future of Ekiti North, assuring constituents that the district is on the path to greater progress and prosperity.
“Our best days are not behind us; they are ahead. Just as the resurrection ushered in a new chapter, I believe a new era of purposeful representation and development is coming for Ekiti North Senatorial District,” he said.
Ajibulu Festus further prayed that the Easter season would bring healing, renewed strength, and joy to every home, urging residents to remain united and hopeful.
He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to service and the advancement of the district, wishing all Christians a joyful and fulfilling Easter celebration.
