The Special Adviser(S.A) to Ekiti state Governor on trade and investment, Mrs Tayo Adeola has distributed packed satchet rice and stipend to elderly party women of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in her ward, Ado-Ekiti ward 11 on Wednesday for Easter celebration.
Mrs Adeola in her brief remark before the distribution of the rice to the elderly women expressed her delight for being in their midst and said the little gesture was borne out of her desire to support and make Easter celebration more fun for them.
She thanked the elderly women for their prayers and support for the present administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in Ekiti state and promised them of more dividend of democracy from the state government through her office.
“I am delighted seeing myself in your midst. I feel at home. This meeting which is purposely for sharing out Easter gift to our revered elders has afforded me the opportunity of familiarizing myself with you.
“The little gift I am giving out to you is borne out of my desire to make this Easter celebration more fun and ease for you. I want to use this opportunity to thank you for your prayers and support for our governor. Be rest assured that more dividend of democracy will be enjoyed by you through my office”
The S.A furthered in her remark by wishing Christians in Ekiti state happy Easter celebration.
“As we celebrate Easter, I wish you happy and more of it on earth”
The elderly women who were full of excitement showed their profound appreciation to the Governor’s aide and prayed for her continual success.
