“Do Not Relent In Your Effort, You Have Made A Name For Yourself”, Adubiaro Advises Chef Dammy

……Reaffirms government’s commitment to youth development

The Secretary to Ekiti State Government Dr Habibat Omolara Adubiaro has reaffirmed the present administration’s commitment to always encourage the youth for them to realise their God’s given talents.

The SSG who gave the affirmation while playing host to Miss Damilola Adeparusi popularly known as Chef Dammy in her office in Ado Ekiti on Friday said that the future of the country lies in the hands of the youth.

Damilola Adeparusi was the Chef who participated in a self motivated cook a thon in June, 2023.

Dr Adubiaro advised Chef Dammy to be relentless in her efforts in becoming a world champion especially in the area of cooking which she knows how to do.

”Do not relent in your efforts, you have made a name for yourself even though your planned at the initial stage of the exercise was not to make money or name, but it turns out to be like the way it went”.

“You are known by the people and Government, that means the sky is just the starting point for you, you have already written your name in gold, keep striving everything is going to work well at the end of it all, she advised ”

Damilola Adeparusi who hailed from Ado -Ekiti and a 300 level mass communication student of Federal University Oye (Fuoye) in her response said that the initially plan of the group was not to make money but when money comes in their plan eventually changed.

“Her mission for the cook a thon which was sponsored by the church was to have fun and shown her capability to the whole world but everything turn out to be the way it was when money and supports started coming in, the story changed but I believe in God and myself that the next time will be well organized and I will be happy to make my state proud”.
