The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr(Mrs) Habibat Omolara Adubiaro has charged all the sixteen local government party women leaders of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ekiti state to deliver their wards and units for the Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all other candidates of the party come February 25.
Adubiaro made this charge during a courtesy visit on her by the party women leaders on Wednesday.
The SSG stated further by commending the women leaders for their laudable role in the party. She assured them of more dividend of democracy under the present administration of Gov. Biodun Oyebanji.
She added that the administration of govenor Oyebanji has been favourable to women in terms of political appointment and expressed optimism that more are still coming for them soonest.
“I am not unaware of the laudable role you play in this party especially during the last governorship election. The Governor, His Excellency, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji values you so much. He doesn’t joke with women.
“We have to be grateful to Almighty God for blessing Ekiti with Gov. Oyebanji whose administration has been favourable to women in terms of political appointment.
“We have to continue to reciprocate this kind gesture from Mr Governor to us by giving him our outpost support. I want to use this medium to charge all of you to go back to your various wards and units and work for the victory of the party. Deliver your wards and units for our party Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all other APC candidates contesting for various positions in this upcoming general elections”
Adubiaro implored the party women leaders to remain united and love one another for the progress of the party.
“One important thing I will like to tell you is that, remain united and love one another. Mr govenor himself has been preaching this gospel to party members from time to time. We can only achieve our goals if we are united.
“Together we stand, divided we fall. So let’s be united for the progress of our party. We have elections ahead of us, so there is need for us to work together as a team so that we can win our opposition with wide margin in this upcoming contest” said Adubiaro.
Earlier, the party women leaders congratulated the SSG on her appointment and said their visitation to her has been long overdue. They wished her success in office and also prayed for the prosperity of Ekiti under Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
Thereafter, the women leaders presented the SSG a roll up flex banner as gift.
