Heritagenewsng reports that Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC in Kwara State Iskilu Ayinla Makinde has appealed to the well meaning individuals and corporate organizations in the State to compliment efforts of the government in easing the mobility issues among the security agencies in the State.
According to the spokesman of the NSCDC in the State, Babawale Zaid Afolabi, the Commandant made the appeal on Tuesday during the hand over ceremony of an operational vehicle donated to the NSCDC by Ayedun community , kwara South senitorial district Ekiti Local Government area of the
State.
The Commandant who was represented by Deputy Commandant ishaq Abdulganiyu pointed out that one of the major issues that frustrating efforts of the security agencies in the State is the lack of enough and functional operational vehicles to move round the nooks and cranny of all the 16 local government in The state.
” Issue of securing a state is becoming demanding and more tasking everyday and the security agencies are leaving no stone unturned to be more alive to the responsive. But we need more Communities, well meaning individuals and corporate organizations to do similar things as Ayedun community has done today” The Commandant reiterated.
He thanked the community for the rare kind gesture and promised them that the NSCDC will continue to work assiduously in order to rid their community and the entire Kwara State of criminal elements.
The hand over ceremony was graces by the traditional chiefs from Ayedun and its environs, representatives of the security agencies and the state government.
