Circumcision On The 8th Day & Circumcision Of The Heart- Pastor Kumuyi

Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry spoke to his members on “Our Glorious Liberty And Freedom In Christ” during a recent Monday Bible study program.

In one of his sub-topics, he spoke about “The Foundation For Godliness In Heart Circumcision” and distinguished between physical circumcision and circumcision of the heart.

He said, “There is no need to glory in the circumcision which was carried out on the 8th day of your birth by your parents, but you must seek after the circumcision of the heart which will be done by God Himself so that your heart can be pure and you will love the Lord your God, and neighbours with all your heart.

“The heart circumcision is made without hands, it is by God and in it, the root and nature of sin are taken away totally. It is the circumcision of Christ. The laws of God are written on the table of your heart and you are able to love and please God and be one of His people.”
