As it is December 25, All roads leads to Saopoulo, Brazil residence of Oba (Ogboni ) worldwide Adekunle Aderonmu , the Oniwashe of Iwashe in Brazil whose birthday is being celebrated.
His birthday is always a day taken serious by his people to celebrate him because of his contribution to the society and people around him.
He illuminates the darkest moments in the lives of many people through his acts of generosity, kindheartedness and care for humanity.
All these are the reason why the people from far and near always use the opportunity to come together to celebrate him.
The volunteers, would say the same because to all of us, you are that humble, happy, loving, selfless and friendly teacher, yes, teacher because you are always willing and patient to guide people through the right paths and your life is a lesson to us because we learn from your actions. You are a unique fraternity king with accomplishments, yet without arrogance.
You are the most generous, and loving person every young person should cling to.Your interest in the growth and the development of youths make me wonder how you make out time for people even with your busy schedules. You are passionate about a lot of things, sometimes I question why you have to do so much but then all of these sum up who you really are. No one or definition better describes the word intentionality but you. You are intentional. You are the best definition of what it means to be intentional.
The journey of feeding families and caring for them in this trying moment as people have faced with the deadly pandemic, couldn’t have been possible without you pushing the goal of sustaining the poor in their lack in your own little way for people in your domain. Many smiled again, many lived, many became hopeful because you gave them reasons to be.
Memories!
Memories of women and children who danced to the love they received, laughter on the faces of those who couldn’t comprehend the fact that someone remembered them, the tears that flowed from the eyes of those who never expected the love extended, the songs of praise and thanksgiving to God from the poor widow. The reality you brought because you were busy thinking of the poor.
I am still talking about the Ambassador of Peace in America, Oba Aderounmu, a Pan-Africanist, an advocate of Yoruba culture and tradition in Brazil. He has written many books teaching and promoting African culture and traditions
Among the books he launched recently are books on Ifa and Ogboni fraternity, which is a perfect expose of the in-depth codes of the Ogboni fraternity, which linked Irunmole Edan and Orunmila-ifa.
Also amongst other books to his credit are: Ifá philosophy as science of life, Identity removed from us -How to recover our auto esteem, while the French version are Ifa Filosofia e ciencia de vida, a idetidade tirade de bos, a societdade de Ogboni. E sua conexao com a tradicao de ifa. His creative outputs are professorial and cerebral.
Based in Brazil, South America, Oba Aderounmu, the highly rated Priest of Ifá, dedicates his life to preserving the culture and tradition of the Yorùbá people through various means without any compromise.
Through his various publications, he has been able to dwell much in preserving traditional religion, and promotion of African culture, but most essentially, his recent publication has dealt with issues and indept knowledge as related to Ogboni Society, Ifa tradition.
His recent publication has been able to present, “The Ògbóni Society, and its connection with the Ifá tradition”, with a deep approach to the most important and sacred aspects of this fraternity, which plays a fundamental role in the preservation of the social and ethical norms prescribed by Ò̩rúnmìlà, the first Ifá high priest who revealed the divine messages and concerns of the Supreme Being – Olódùmarè.
Oba Aderounmu’s books have equally presented the importance of the Ògbóni Fraternity before Yorùbá society since African antiquity, with the purpose of maintaining peace and order on planet Earth, through the philosophical principles of Ifá, relying on the importance of human character and standard ethics for the evolution of humanity.
Great philanthropist, recipient of many award and multilingual scholar. Born in December 25, 1964, Oba Aderounmu is CEO of-África cultural centre, Brazil, husband of Falilat Oluwatoyin, and father of Oluwakemi and Archtect, Damilola an Economist, Motunrayoan Engineer and Adedoyin a student.
