Ekiti State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of three persons in connection with the clash between suspected rival cult groups who were on rampage in Ikere Ekiti on Sunday morning. 
Eye witness account told heritagenewsng that the clash between the two rival cultists groups started on Saturday night which led to a reprisal attack on Sunday morning where no fewer that six person have been reportedly killed, with others sustained various degree of injuries.
However, the Police Public Relations Officers, Mr. Sunday Abutu who confirmed the incident said, five people have lost their lives to the fracas and that their bodies have been deposited in the morgue.
Abutu urged residents of Ikere Ekiti not to panic over the incident saying the command has deployed surveillance in the town to beef up security.
