Breaking News: Ekiti IPAC Chairman, Deputy Suspended Over Gross Misconduct

The Chairman of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ekiti State chapter Pastor Daramola Owoola and his Deputy, Mr. Femi Obidoyin have been suspended for alleged infractions on the Code of Conduct of IPAC in matters relating to the financial activities of the Council and high-handedness.

Their suspension was contained in a press release by the council which was jointly signed by the State Secretary, Prince Ademola Adedayo and the State Treasure, Malam Jimoh Saheed.

The suspension of Pastor Daramola and his deputy, Mr Ibidoyin followed a resolution made by a Seven-member committee set up by IPAC to investigate the alleged misconduct of the duo.

Below is the full statement of the suspension of Ekiti IPAC Chairman and his Deputy;

*SUSPENSION OF PASTOR. DARAMOLA OWOOLA AS EKITI STATE IPAC CHAIRMAN*

This is to inform all the political stakeholders in Ekiti State and the general public that through a Seven-member RESOLUTION the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Chairman in the State, Pastor Daramola Owoola and His Deputy,Mr Femi Obidoyin has been suspended for alleged infractions on the Code of Conduct of IPAC in matters relating to the financial activities of the Council and high-handedness.

A Disciplinary Committee will therefore look into the matter in due course for appropriate action.

In the interim, Hon Dare Adekolu and Chief Moses Awogbemi has been appointed as the Acting State Chairman and Deputy Chairman respectively with immediate effect.
