Heritagenewsng.com reports that the former Secretary to Ekiti State government and APC governorship aspirant, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has been officially declared as the winner of APC governorship primary election in Ekiti state this evening by the Electoral Chairman, His Excellency, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar.
Mr Oyebanji according to the results as collated and released polled 101, 703 to clinch the party ticket to contest June 18th governorship election in Ekiti state.
Coming second in the official result Engr. Kayode Ojo who polled a total vote of 767 while the third position goes to Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele who polled 760 votes
The election which was adjudged to be peaceful, free, and fair by the Independent Monitoring Team recorded an impressive turnout of party in all the wards in Ekiti state.
