The Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, has announced the appointment of Barr. Opeyemi Hezekiah AJIBOLA as the new Acting Clerk of the Assembly to replace the outgoing Clerk, Mr Tola Esan.
Barr. Ajibola who is from Otun Ekiti in Moba Local Government was the Deputy Clerk Legal before his new appointment.
Barr. Ajibola joined the legislative service as a Senior Legislative counsel in the Legislative Drafting and Legal Services Department of Ekiti State House of Assembly in October, 2011.
A statement signed by Hon. Babatunde Oke, Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs said the appointment will take effect on 1st June, 2024.
