General Overseer of the CAC Miracle City aka Healing Centre, Bashiri in Ado Ekiti, Prophet Victor Olaniyi Oladapo has alerted members of the public to the new trick allegedly being used by kidnappers in Ekiti State.
The man of God while ministering during the Sunday service at his Bashiri church in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital said the Lord had revealed to him during the last week’s Wednesday program in the church that they should pray against kidnapping and loss of any member of the church or their family.
According to the cleric at the Thursday service, which was the second day of the programme, he was informed that two members of the church and one other person known to him were kidnapped in Ado Ekiti but God saved them.
He said “The new trick they now use to kidnap is that they will pretend to be an Okada rider and they will carry you on their bike, and when they are going, they will match the brake of the bike suddenly, then you will hit your chest on their back, then immediately you will lose your memory, and they will then take you to wherever they want to take you to.
“This was the experience of the three persons known to me that the Lord delivered just last week. Even one of them is yet to get herself as I am talking to you. We are praying for her, and God will deliver her finally” he explained.
The man of God warned people to beware and make sure they prevent anything that could make their chest hit or touch the back of Okada riders while riding on them, just as he also urged Christians to always pray for God’s protection.
He however prayed for all members of the church and annointed everyone that was in the church against all evil tendencies.
The title of today’s sermon is: “Our Hope is still alive in God”. The man of God read from Proverbs 10: 28, Mathew 6: 25, John 14; 1, Psalm 5:11, Psalm 41:10, Jeremiah 1:19, and John 3:16.
He urged Christians to always hope for the best and believe in the promises of God, particularly in the economic situation in the country.
“Always pray for good things, think of good things, and hope for the best, because what you think will think in your mind that will happen to you will always happen to you.
“Whoever is on the side of God, God will always make way for him and pave way for him even in the wilderness, in terms of trouble, wants, and tribulation like the current economic situation in our country today, no matter how difficult is the situation, God will always make way for his own people.
“You may not be rich like Dangote but God will not allow you to be put to shame. There has never been anybody who put his hope in God and was let down. God will always make a way. It is only God who can do it. Don’t ever look for a way out of any other place than from God, because He is the only one that can make our joy full without asking for anything in return”.
