There is no doubt that the unveiling of the BAO’s Manifesto yesterday had begun to unsettle the two major opposition parties in the state, the SDP and PDP.
The sophistication of the proposed policy document has made the opposition so mournful and the dirge is becoming so loud and sound pointing to their imminent death after the June 18 poll.
The promoters of the two parties, rather than placing before the good people of Ekiti State their plans of action for the next four years, have continued to throw pebbles at the genuine approach of the candidate of the APC, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, to fast forward the progress and the development of the state for the next four years.
While we have decided to completely ignore their tantrums, and refraining from wrestling with a pig, particularly their social media attack dogs, we are not also unaware that a tree with the juiciest fruits receives the highest number of hits.
As a mature and well-positioned political party, we have decided to move on with our campaign which will be completely issue-based in line with the social contract of our candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, with the good people of Ekiti State.
Many Ekiti people have now understood that the other parties have nothing concrete to offer than propaganda and deceit. It’s also very clear to the Ekiti people that among all the candidates for this Ekiti election, BAO is the only candidate with a genuine program that can drive innovation, create wealth and bring deserved development to all our people.
Our boys will henceforth remain peaceful on social media without joining issues with anyone. A man that carries palm oil on his head does not wait to watch a fight in the market. Neither a man in white attire always runs from a man that has palm oil on his fingers.
Thank you all.
I am adl, I am a BAO Ambassador
