BAO Campaign DG In Ikere, Tasks South Leaders To Work For Oyebanji’s Victory

Mobilisation drive took the Director-General of BAO Campaign Organisation, Cyril Fasuyi, to the South Senatorial District of Ekiti State on Wednesday in conference with leaders at Ikere-Ekiti to ensure success for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, in the June 18, 2022 governorship election.

Fasuyi expressed delight at the success of the inveiling of Oyebanji’s manifesto in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday, saying the huge turnout at the event signposted positive spirit among members to ensure success of the candidate of APC at poll.

He charged leaders and members to brace for the campaign activities, particularly mobilisation of voters, to ensure success in the election.

Fasuyi assured that all necessary supports will be provided to ensure victory at the election and asked leaders to raise issues that could hamper the way to success, for resolution to ensure victory.

He warned against individual problems arising from interests among contestants for various elective positions.

Tasking leaders and members to abide by the rules set out by the party to guide the selection of candidates in the National and State assemblies, the DG said both SDP and PDP stood no chance of defeating APC in the elections, warning that it is only personal problems among members over individual interest that could cause problems.

He reiterated the need for mutual understanding, and to remain focused to ensure successful outing in the poll.

Fasuyi also urged the leaders and members to embark on house to house campaign, even as he charged members to work with National Assembly members to ease campaign plans and implementation for the success of the party at polls.

South Senatorial Chairman, Akindele Akinbobola, charged members to work hard for the success of the party and pleaded against discrimination, stressing that members had equal opportunities in the party.

The Deputy Director-General (South) BAO Campaign Organisation, Femi Awe, while warning against acts that can cause misunderstanding in the build up to the election,  urged members to go back home to work for victory.

Former Majority Leader, Kayode Babade, expressed optimism for victory, even as he urged that appointments be spread across the towns in the senatorial district to ensure a sense of belonging.

Other leaders in attendance include South Senatorial Women Leader, Abiodun Adesina; Seun Afuye, Daramola Sikiru, Ajakaye Dayo, Febisola Adewale, Ropo Adesanya, Alhaji Shitu Tiwon, Diran Adesua, Benjamin Abegunde, Gbenga Omole, Kayode Babade and Ayodele Fadumiye.

Others are Bisi Aloba, Oluwole Ariyo, Dare Ajayi, Deji Ajayi, Remi Osabusua, Muyiwa Olumilua, Rotimi Ajidara, Abiola Olowokere, Olatunji Joseph, Akanle Lateef, Foluso Daramola, Fola Afolalu, Ayo Adedara, Bunmi Adelugba and Opeyemi Ademuagun.

Also present are Yemi Alatise, Michael Awopetu, Dolamu Adeniyi, Femi Ogundare, Amire Kolade, Princess Teju Okuyiga,  Rotimi Orewole, Femi Ajayi and Jimlas Kayode Fasae.
