According to the statement, the Union’s leadership is passionate about members’ well-being, considering the critical role they play in shaping young minds, adding that they could not afford to neglect their health, no matter the challenges.
The Union leader also advised members to take advantage of the Union’s Health Insurance Scheme, designed to provide affordable medical care for them.
The statement also encouraged teachers to remain dedicated to their duties, despite the economic hardships facing the nation. “Your commitment to excellence is crucial, even in difficult times”.
It reminded teachers that they are role models and should demonstrate integrity, compassion, and resilience, as their students look up to them for guidance and inspiration.
