I Comrade Gideon Edache one of the aspirants for the office of the caretaker committee chairman of Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.

Power belongs to God and he gives it to those whom he wants, is on this belief that I want to sincerely express my profound gratitude to God almighty for all in this struggle to liberate Agatu, His Excellency Rev. Dr. Hyacianth Iormen Alia P.hD, Executive Governor Of Benue State.

My political party the All Progressive Congress ( APC), the youths, the religious, and traditional fathers, political associates, political leaders, mentors, family, and friends for your support, prayers, and counsel were not taken for granted.

It is my prayer that God will bless you for these kind gestures towards me at the time I needed it most. I will remain ever grateful and loyal at all times and have accepted the outcome of this struggle as the will of God and I’m very optimistic that Hon Yakubu Ochepo lead caretaker committee will bring the needed development to our council.

Permit me to share with you at this moment that my aspiration is worth it and the experiences gained are an asset that has spurred my continued resolution to be committed to the Agatu peace and development as my vision I so desire for our people like every other a just and egalitarian society for all of us, believing me the outcome this struggle as it stands now has taken as fate and accepted in a good faith with renew course for me to remain as an Agatu peace and development ambassador as aspired.

Struggles are not won at all times but struggles saturate the atmosphere ready for victory in a dimension that provides the platform for the attainment of the vision. At this juncture, I want to repatriate it that my aspiration to become Agatu Local Government Caretaker Committee Chairman was never for personal interest but rather my passion as a youth to champion value-added service to the Local Government through judicious use of allocated resources to galvanize all communities chiefs, opinion leaders, literate and illiterate minds taking advantage of Agatu human resources in organizing regular community town hall advocacy meeting and tour around as communists to actively discuss and collectively champion a rebirth of the Agatu of our dreams as a place we can look back and be grateful to God as a people.”yes we can “.

Yes, it is not personal but a course to allow the youths to do it differently and better than we ever had, is all about being sincere and truthful as a mediator between our people and the State on the need to balance development and opportunities for our people.

I’m intentional about facilitating the gathering of all the elected officials, technocrats, entrepreneurs, religious leaders, traditional rulers, and civil servants in a platform to build our large youth population tagged “Agatu one mentor one ” where annually we will gather to showcase the number of youths a mentor has mentored or guided towards youths brilliant business idea startups and nurturing youths political ambition as successors, reawaken reading culture among us all.

Yes, knowledge is power, tagged ” Agatu literacy program” The LEA schools and teachers will be prioritized through teachers’ capacity workshops, and a mechanism for IGR will be put in place to improve our resources for IGR a transformed council. Payment of LG staff salaries and our peacebuilding is non-negotiable.

I heartly congratulate Hon. Yakubu Ochepo as chairman and other members of the caretaker committee of Agatu Local Government area of Benue State. It’s my earnest prayers and desires that you will succeed .

Being in the aspiration with you to the same office as just concluded never doubt my belief for you as senior party man with your worth of experience capable of providing the now most needed sacrificial and exemplary leadership in the local Government to bring the desired development for our people within the resources available to make our party a household name

While I urge the Caretaker Committee members to work as a team with the chairman in redefining the hope our Local Government through people meaningful oriented policies formulation and execution for our people overall interest.

My sincere appeal to you all is to see this as an opportunity to serve our people and we are going to collectively strive hard for the success of the Agatu project
Once More God I’m grateful to all and I thank everyone for the massive love and support before, during, and after the selection process I promise you my availability and commitment to the attainment of the Agatu project and I will remain committed and loyal party man.
