The APC Youth and Student Council has refuted the purported endorsement of Hon. Femi Bamisile in circulation urged the general public and most importantly the APC Ekiti State to disregard the beer-parlor assertion in its entirety.
The group National Publicity Secretary, Fatai Abiodun in an interview with newsmen said the group was in Ekiti state to meet with all the aspirants to ensure free, fair and youth inclusiveness ahead of the Party Primary election slated for 27th of January 2022.
Fatai said it is not in the interest of justice and equity to endorse an aspirant ahead of the Party Primary that Director-General of the Council, Mazi Enzenwa Onyirimba was quoted out of context and the impression of the courtesy call was not for an endorsement but to fraternize will all contestants in the spirit of fair play.
The Publicity Secretary said the group’s position is to work for the interest of the party, not an individual that the group has no personal interest in any aspirants that all contestants have all it takes to take Ekiti to the promised land.
“Our common enemies are the oppositions, and all hands must be on deck to defeat them at the pool.
“We wrote to all the aspirants; and we have visited Senator Prince Dayo Adeyeye, Rt Hon. Richard Femi Bamisile and Engr. Kayode Ojo, while still anticipating, our simple message is for all the aspirants to see themselves as Ekiti’s first before any other thing and for them to muscle support for whoever emerges as a winner in the interest of the party.
“If the primary is not handled with care and trust, it would have a resultant effect on the d-day. All the aspirants have all it takes to defeat any goliath opposition at the forthcoming governorship pool based on their credentials, antecedents, and experience of governance.” Fatai Abiodun said.
