A Muslim organization in Ekiti state, ALFATHU-L-QAREEBtoday 15th August, 2021, held a special prayer and joint Asalatuh to celebrate this year’s Hijirah.
The special prayer which was held at the QAREEB Central mosque in Omisanjana, Ado-Ekiti, was led by the state Missioner, Sheikh Imam Abdul-Hakeem Bamidele Afenifere
The state Missioner in his sermon to members stated that Hijirah should not only be seen as celebrating the migration of Prophet Muhammed(S.A.W) from Makkah to
Medinah but be used as an opportunity to migrate from all our sinful acts and any other thing that negates the good doctrines of Islam.
He added further that Muslims should not hesitate to leave a place not favourable for the practice of their religion or company of those that will bring set back to their life in fulfilment of the act of Hijirah.
Sheikh Imam Abdul-Hakeem Afenifere also enjoined QAREEB members to always show love to each other and be their brother’s keeper.
Present at the special prayer were state chairman of QAREEB, Alhaji Abdul-Hakeem Olarenwaju Titilope , women state Amirah, Alhaja Bello Fatimah, all branch and state executives, and all branch Missioners from Ado-Ekiti.
