The Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, HRM Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi Afuntade I, has congratulated his media Adviser, High Chief Ajibade Olubunmi who was conferred with a Doctorate Degree in Journalism by the African American University on Saturday, 21st October 2023.
The University conferred a Ph.D (honoris Causa) in Journalism on the erudite journalist.
In a release personally signed by the Alawe, he described the degree as a well- deserved honours conferred on Chief Olubunmi in recognition of his versatility and exemplary contributions to the field of Journalism.
Oba Adebanji Alabi was full of praises for Chief Olubunmi for impacting positively on the throne of Alawe.
The Alawe described Chief Olubunmi as a dependable, trustworthy and conscientious traditional title holder in Ilawe who is well-endowed with native intelligence and sagacity.
The monarch prayed for God’s protection over the quintessential Chief in the service of humanity.
