Ajibulu Reacts to Killings of Ekiti Monarch

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC),Chief Segun Ajibulu  has expressed shock over  the gruesome killings of two traditional rulers in Ekiti ,describing it cruel, condemnable and unacceptable.

Ajibulu,who  also condemned the abduction of some  school children by the kidnappers said it is high time the government reviews  the security architecture of the State.

He described the deceased monarchs, the Olumojo Oba Olatunde Olusola and Oba Babatunde Ogunsakin, the Elesun of Esun Ekiti as his fathers and  close allies who had contributed immensely to his political  career.

Ajibulu, who is also,the leader of the SouthWest Professionals advised governor Biodun Oyebanji to work closely with critical stakeholders in each community with a view to finding lasting solution to the menace of killings and abduction of innocent citizens .

According to him,the killings of two traditional rulers  on same day was a big loss to the Yoruba nation .

The APC chieftain therefore expressed condolence to the government and people of Ekiti ,particularly the affected communities, praying to God to console them and their immediate families.

Ajibulu recalled how one of the deceased monarchs and Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba Ogunsakin bestowed him  a chieftain title of Agbobaniyi of Esun-Ekiti  Kingdom few months ago.

” I am yet to come to terms with the realities of the demise of the two monarchs .I have been in constant touch with them, particularly, the late Elesun   who sent me a text message on Sunday around 9am Nigerian time  The late monarchs were also  interested in the progress of my political exploits .

“These were monarchs who meant well for their communities and always ready support positive thinking. Kabiesi told me before I left Nigeria for the United States that he would like to see me as soon as I return  home .To say that I will miss these gentle and easy going royal fathers would be an understatement. ” Ajibulu said .

He therefore called on security agencies  to synergize effectively with one another  inorder  to apprehend  the perpetrators  of the dastardly acts .
