In an effort to boost the morale of committed party members, the Secretary to Ekiti State, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, has begun the payment of monthly stipends to selected members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders’ Forum in Ward 11, Ado-Ekiti.
Mrs. Adubiaro, in her short remarks before the distribution of the stipends to the APC party elders, stated that the gesture was borne out of her desire to complement the efforts of the state governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, in prioritizing the welfare of party members. She also expressed her appreciation for the elders’ support and selfless sacrifice towards the progress of the party in Ward 11.
She added that the selected beneficiaries would enjoy this gesture for a year, after which another set of beneficiaries would be considered for the next phase of payment.
The SSG enjoined the party elders to keep praying for the success of Gov. Biodun Oyebanji’s administration.
“This little token is to support the efforts of my boss, the Governor, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, in prioritizing the welfare of party members. It is also a way of showing appreciation for your support and selfless sacrifice towards the progress of the party in our ward. This gesture will be a continuous one. I want to enjoin you to keep on praying for the success of Gov. Biodun Oyebanji’s administration and also for the peace and progress of the state.”
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Madam Alabi Oke thanked the SSG for her kind gestures and prayed for her success in office.
