The Chairman of Ado Central Local Council Development Area, Engineer Toyin Ojo, has declared that his aspiration to represent Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I in the National Assembly is driven by a strong commitment to delivering impactful and quality representation.

Speaking during an interactive session with journalists in Ado Ekiti, Ojo said his ambition is anchored on his desire to replicate his developmental strides at the council level on a broader legislative platform. He, however, noted that the realisation of the ambition rests with God and the people.
He expressed confidence in his capacity to make meaningful contributions if elected, stressing that his professional background and administrative experience have adequately prepared him for the task ahead.
Recounting some of his achievements, the council boss revealed that his administration constructed a befitting secretariat at Oke Oniyo within 100 days of assuming office, addressing the lack of a conducive working environment for staff and executive members.
Ojo also disclosed that the council is currently undertaking the construction of a modern automated car park in the heart of Ado Ekiti. According to him, the project is designed to ease traffic congestion, curb indiscriminate parking, and boost internally generated revenue.
He added that upon completion, the facility would rank among the best in the country.
The chairman further highlighted other interventions by his administration,
including the provision of potable water, rural electrification, solar energy installations, construction of key roads and bridges, as well as welfare support for persons with disabilities, the elderly, and widows.
Ojo maintained that Ado Central LCDA has become a reference point in grassroots governance, attributing the success to his private sector-driven approach—an experience he said he is ready to bring to bear at the National Assembly if given the mandate.
