One of the prominent Social clubs in Ekiti state, particularly in Ado Ekiti known as Ado-Ekiti Dynamic club with her base in Lagos but has her members across the Country and abroad, disbursed cash to over fifty women in Ado-Ekiti as gift for this festive season. The cash disbursement which took place at Ewi’s palace in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday was part of activities lined up for the end of the year meeting of the club.
The President of Ado-Ekiti Dynamic club and Special Adviser to the Governor of Ekiti State (Bureau of Special Projects), Architect Tope Ogunleye in his opening remark thanked the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, the Grand Patron of the Club for his contributions and encouragement to Ado Ekiti Dynamic Club always.
He stated further that the club out its act of benevolence decided to put smile on the faces of the women as part of its contribution of making this festive season lively for them.
He pointed out that this gesture started in December year 2020 when the Club gave cash gift to 10 women, it was increases to 30 women last year while this year’s beneficiaries increased to 58 women. He stated that this women will be going home with nothing less than N10,000 each.
Architect Ogunleye also added that the club has always committed to the development of Ado-Ekiti as a way of giving back to the society and to support HRM efforts in making sure that enabling environment is created for all the residence of Ado Ekiti.
“We are very grateful to Kabiesi for his unconditional support to this Club always. This club is giving out cash gift to our mothers in the name of our Kabiyesi in fulfilment of our aims and objectives of giving back to the society.
“What we are giving out is a little token but this believe will go a long way in making this festive season lively for all of you.
“I want to use this medium to restate the commitment of this club towards the progress and development of Ado-Ekiti. We will not relent in contributing our quota towards the development of this great town, the state capital of Ekiti State.”
The Ewi in his response after the President’s remark thanked God for the opportunity giving to the members of the club to witness this epoch making event.
The first class traditional ruler stated further by commending members of Ado Dynamic for the yearly cash disbursement and the enjoined beneficiaries to make judicious use of what was giving them in order to make their family happy at this festive period.
“We thank God for the opportunity given to us to witness this epoch making event. We also thank God for the sustenance of this club. We started from small but snowballed into something bigger. We thank God for the lives of the founding fathers and the present management of the Club.’’
“Ado Dynamic club is really doing a great things which they must be commended for. We should be grateful for the personality of individuals who are members of this esteemed club. I pray that God will continue to replenish your pockets”
Ewi also commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the ongoing rehabilitation of Ado Township which he described as a welcome development. He called on government to put more effort in the area of fight against insecurity and unemployment among Nigerian youths.
“This present administration should be commended for the ongoing rehabilitation of Ado township roads. We are happy over this development. But there still more to be done especially in the area of maintenance of peace and unemployment among our youths which is worrisome”
Some of the beneficiaries stated that what Ado Ekiti Dynamic did meant so much to them, particularly at this festive period. They prayed for the members of the Club and Kabiyesi in whose name the Cash gifts were disbursed.
The concluding part of the event was a Royal blessing from the throne of Ewi of Ado Ekiti to all members of Ado Ekiti Dynamic Club.
