Action: In Response to Gov Oyebanji’s Directive

Yesterday, the Office of Community Communications received feedback concerning the deteriorating condition of a block of classroom in St Andrew’s Primary School in Oke Ila, Ado Ekiti.

In response to Mr. Governor’s directive, the Chairman of the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof. Femi Akinwumi, conducted a thorough inspection of the school today, Tuesday 9th January (see pictures).

Beyond the inspection, immediate action has been initiated on-site starting today. The dilapidated structure will be pulled down . A fresh construction is to commence immediately.

Governor Oyebanji has not only established accessible feedback channels for citizens to engage seamlessly with the Government but also treats every piece of feedback with the utmost importance.

This swift response underscores the Governor’s unwavering commitment to education, aiming to create a conducive learning and teaching environment.
