The Yoruba mandatários gathered In grand style at the executive space , Egbe Omo Oodua Centre in Saopaulo , Brazil . The group arrived at the very same point of working , talking , doing and acting together as one family.
The end of the year party was a practical gathering of Oodua thinkers in Brazil, they deliberated on important issues , members embraced each other , agreed oneness as the way forward. The group leaders described the recent happenings in Nigeria as challenges, they urged Yorubas around the world to demonstrate unity at this very difficult moment of the race in Nigeria
Speaking at the event , the President of the group in Brazil , Pastor Kayode Bamidele reaffirms the full support of Egbe Omo Oodua towards constructive and positive activities of all Oodua groups around the world , he cited the biblical verse of Paul and Apollos as examples that should not happen In the Yoruba race “ Together we are stronger ” he said .
Alhaji Hakeem Apena , an elder of the group said “ Be you for Yoruba One nation, be you for Ilana Omo Oodua, be you for Oodua Redemption Alliance, be you a Muslim, Christian, traditionalists, let us all celebrate Unity , let us be sincere to each other , let us do it as a family . Togetherness we stand “ he wished all a great 2022 ahead.
Elder Michael Adebowale . Aka actor, in his discuss, said the way forward is togetherness, he advised that all sons and daughters of Oodua around the world must remain a family , he reminded Oodua group in Brazil that the sociocultural group started in 1992 , he thanked every member present, he wished all better days ahead.
The Grand patron of the group , HRH , Oba (Ogboni) Adekunle Aderonmu also present , used the opportunity to thank all sons and daughters of Oodua for their struggles . He asked all to continue as one family irrespective of their social , economic or religious differences , he advised members to be good examples to one other .
The President of the African cultural center in Saopaulo also announced the launching of his new book on Ogboni and Ifa , he invited all members to the book launching on the 14th of December , 2021., in Avenida Paulista, Brazil.
The occasion counted with the presence of notable and important Yoruba elders in Brazil , Heritagenewsng’s Adeyinka Olaiya, Alhaja Rasheedat , Iya Oodua of Brazil, Alagba Faruk, Alagba Dawoo, Alagba Abdulahi Olopa, Alagba Babafemi, Comrade Lawrence Idowu , Madam Yemisi, Alagba Fatboy , Ifa Priest Adewale Adimula , Alagba Gbenga Ijebu, Alagba Bimbo Olowo-ife , Alfa Bola , Comrade Rasheed , Alagba Remi and several other important members of the group.
It was a night full of fun , talks , chats , lots of foods and drinks , assorted Yoruba foods and drinks , musics , dances , prayers and blessings from elders.
