The coach Kehinde Anjorin led Ekiti NYSC on Tuesday defeated their counterparts from Taraba state 2 nil in one of the semi final matches of the NYSC DG’s Cup 2021.
The match was decided at the training pitch of the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
To reach the semi final, Ekiti NYSC through a lone goal scored by Abednigo Gosm outclassed their counterparts from Bauchi on Monday.
The only goal was scored in the 39th minute.
Ekiti NYSC who are representing the South West in the NYSC DG’s Cup having emerged best in the South West Qualifiers held in Osogbo , Osun state some weeks back will today (Wednesday) slug it out with their counterparts from Anambra state in the final .
Head coach of Ekiti NYSC, Kehinde Anjorin who is the Ekiti State Football Head coach at the Ekiti State Sports Council and one of the most experienced coaches in the state descrined the experience at the NYSC DG’s Cup 2021 as worthwhile with an assurance that rhe boys will remain focused till they win the trophy. .
