The Yoruba Nation arrowhead, Prof Banji Akintoye, revealed in Brazil how he narrowly escaped death in Nigeria.
The Yoruba leader and founder of the Yoruba self determination group, Ilana Omo Oodua said that the Department of State Security Services (DSS) planned to raid his house and kill him , he said what happened to Chief Sunday Adeyemo (aka Igboho) could have happened to him, he said those that raided Igboho’s. house were assassins , he said they did not act as police.
According to the Yoruba nation agitator, the DSS already had the plan to raid his house overnight the same manner they did at Chief Sunday Adeyemo’s residence where innocent agitators were killed , he said they went there to kill Sunday Igboho, but God saved him from their nets .
The Professor said he escaped death because he listened to the advise from others to leave his residence, he said his absence in his house that night saved him, they immediately went after Sunday Igboho.
According to him , staying out of Nígeria is the best , it is due to what Buhari led police force projects against him “ I narrowly escaped them , their plans were foiled , so they went to Igboho’s house to kill him“ Akintoye said.
The Yoruba man said that he will not relent until Chief Sunday Igboho is released from detention In Cotonou, he asked all Yorubas to remain calm that Sunday Igboho is okay and shall soon be released .
Professor Akintoye said that the plans of this government is to eliminate agitators , portray them as terrorists so he can use the police to raid and kill them“ I escaped death because I listened earlier to advises and fled to Cotonou “ he affirmed.
The founder of Ilana Omo Oodua applauded the Yorubas in Brazil , he urged them to continue promoting the race , the culture , language and religion , he advised all to associate with his group and all other groups to reject Nígeria
At a conference held in Brazil , Dr. Adeyeye, the diaspora coordinator of Ilana Omo Oodua announced at the conference concerning the programs of the group to educate all the Yorubas families in diaspora on how to speak the language , he announced the free Yoruba language classes for all.
Professor Akintoye thanked all Yorubas around the world , he asked them to continue praying for him , he specifically thanked Elder Nichael Adebowale for his prayers, he promised to continue with the struggle .
