The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on Monday led members of the National Assembly from the state and key leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to inspect the ongoing construction of the party’s new secretariat in Ado Ekiti.

The visit, according to the governor, was aimed at showcasing the level of progress recorded on the project and reinforcing the party’s commitment to strengthening its structure and internal coordination across the state.

Speaking during the inspection tour, Oyebanji described the project as a strategic investment designed to deepen engagement with party members and enhance the capacity of the party to effectively deliver on its mandate to the people of Ekiti State.

He noted that the construction of the new secretariat would provide a central hub for party activities, coordination and policy engagement, thereby strengthening the party’s grassroots structures.

He explained that the project goes beyond physical infrastructure, stressing that it represents a deliberate effort to build a stronger and more connected party.

“This is about strengthening our party from the ground up so we can coordinate better, connect more deeply with our members and continue to deliver real value to the people across Ekiti State,” he added.

Oyebanji further emphasized that the secretariat project reflects the party’s long-term vision of building sustainable political institutions that would serve both present and future generations.

“We are building something lasting here for today and for generations to come. I am grateful for the teamwork making it happen,” the governor stated.
