The Managing Consultant of Johan Consults Limited, Akin Oyegoke, has congratulated former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, on his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany.

Fani-Kayode’s appointment and diplomatic posting were recently approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as part of a broader effort to strengthen Nigeria’s diplomatic presence across key global missions.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Saturday, Oyegoke described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Fani-Kayode’s vast experience in governance, diplomacy and public service would greatly benefit Nigeria’s foreign relations.

According to him, the former minister possesses the intellect, courage and global exposure required to effectively represent Nigeria on the international stage.

“This appointment is a recognition of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode’s wealth of experience, dedication to national service and his deep understanding of international relations. I have no doubt that he will represent Nigeria with distinction in Germany,” Oyegoke said.

The Johan Consults boss also commended President Tinubu for what he described as a strategic choice, expressing confidence that the decision would further strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Nigeria and Germany.

“President Tinubu has once again demonstrated leadership by appointing individuals with the capacity and experience to advance Nigeria’s interests globally.

Germany is one of Europe’s strongest economies and an important partner to Nigeria, so this appointment is timely and strategic,” he added.

Oyegoke expressed optimism that Fani-Kayode’s tenure would open new opportunities for collaboration between both countries in areas such as trade, investment, technology and education.
