The new Ambassador to Brazil , Prof. Ahmad Mohammed Makarfi yesterday 14th ,Sept. 2021 visited the Nigerians in Saopaulo, Brazil
The diplomat who came with his team to Saopaulo addressed the leaders and representatives of all the Nigérian associations , organizations and communities.
Specifically, the New Ambassador shared views with Nigerians of all ethnic groups, he also harped on One Nigeria and discussed the way forward, he asked Nigérians to put ethnic issues behind and move as one Nigéria.
The soft spoken Ambassador received Nigérians at the conference hall of Hotel Novotel in the metropolitan city of Saopaulo , he confessed with heart full of joy that the Nigerians living in Saopaulo are exceptional.
The Nigeria Ambassador applauded the warm reception he received during his first and second time in Saopaulo, he thanked all Ethnic groups present and said “ In your midst , I feel at home “
The academic who despite the presence of some separatist agitators was firm , objective and decisive in his speech , he was applauded by all at the conference hall.
This, according to many, represents the very first time in these years that Nigerians would sit as one nation to welcome an Ambassador to Brazil, they said, he demonstrated the spirit of a father ready to unite his children.
The ambassador promised proximity of the embassy to all Nigerians in Brazil, he affirmed on easy accessibility to the embassy, he also emphasized on education, social cultural and technological importance, he asked all to edify themselves for a better future “Nigeria needs you “ he said.
He appealed to Nigerians to be law abiding in every of their doings
