The Governorship Candidate of the Accord Party in Ekiti State, Opeyemi David Falegan (ODF), has announced his intention to adopt President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as his preferred presidential candidate in the coming days, describing the move as part of a broader commitment to unity, progress, and development in the state.

Falegan, a prominent indigene of Ado-Ekiti, and UK based military man in a chat with Heritage News in Ado Ekiti said he is ready to work closely with President Tinubu in advancing policies and initiatives that will accelerate growth and improve the welfare of the people of Ekiti State.

“I will be adopting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as my presidential candidate in the coming days,” Falegan stated.

He emphasized that collaboration across political lines is essential for achieving sustainable development and delivering good governance to the people.

“I am willing to work with President Tinubu in making our dearest state great again. Ekiti deserves purposeful leadership anchored on unity, cooperation, and progressive ideas,” he added.

According to the Accord Party flagbearer, his decision reflects the party’s philosophy of oneness and progress, noting that the future of Ekiti State must rise above partisan divides.

“This is about Accord, oneness, and progress. Our focus is the people of Ekiti and the prosperity of our state,” Falegan said.

He reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership and pledged to continue engaging stakeholders across all sectors to build a stronger and more prosperous Ekiti State.
