A former Deputy Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly and current lawmaker representing Irepodun/Ifelodun State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Hakeem Jamiu, has lauded a Consultant Cardiologist at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), Prof. Bolade Dele-Ojo, for her outstanding contributions to medicine and academic scholarship.
Rt. Hon. Jamiu gave the commendation while speaking at the launch of two books authored by Prof. Dele-Ojo, titled “You’re Unstoppable” and “The Frontline Doctor”, describing the event as a great honour and a landmark achievement for the medical profession in Ekiti State.
According to him, reviews presented at the event clearly demonstrated the depth, relevance and originality of the books, noting that they offer invaluable contributions to medical knowledge while also addressing real-life experiences beyond the walls of hospitals and lecture theatres.
“The books are masterpieces and truly unputdownable. They combine professional insight with life lessons that inspire resilience, excellence and service,” Jamiu said.
He recommended the books particularly to medical students, practicing doctors, health workers and the general public, stressing that the publications would serve as reference materials and sources of motivation for professionals within and outside the medical field.
Rt. Hon. Jamiu congratulated Prof. Dele-Ojo on the successful unveiling of the books and applauded her achievements as a practitioner and renowned academic, describing her as a pride of the medical profession and Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital.
“Prof. Bolade Dele-Ojo has continued to project EKSUTH positively through her professionalism, scholarship and dedication to humanity. She is indeed a pride to Ekiti State,” he added.
